The CABLE & WIRE MACHINE’S MANUFACTURER ASSOCIATION OF INDIA is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led and industry-managed nodal agency for the manufacturers of equipment for the wire producing industry. It’s prime objective is to liaise with the regulatory authorities for an advantageous work sphere for it’s members and associated industries, through an advisory and consultative processes. It is the intent of the CMMAI to be proactively represented on several panels, committees and councils of the Government of India, through which it would help in the formulation of policies pertaining to the Indian electrification sector.

CMMAI is actively involved in the collection and dissemination of knowledge for technology up-gradation, quality enhancement so as to keep it’s members abreast of the international standards and competition. It's other activities include creating strategic global linkages through participation in international trade fairs and sending trade delegations overseas to network on key issues related to the electrification industry.
